With the wooden eye secure in his mouth he was free to move about. Jack turned towards the humans below and saw his least favorite one take out a pistol. Jack the monkey screeched at the other jack and the wooden eye fell out from his teeth. The monkey not that saddened by his loss let out another screech and climbed back down onto the shoulder of his master. A peanut was thrust into Jack’s face and he quickly grabbed at it and nibbled. Roleplay sample: The Pearl has been at sea for at least five days since their last dock, they now head for none other than Tortuga in order to gain some new crew members. Kaizoku is sitting on the rail holding onto the ropes to keep from falling. The soft sea mist causes her to shiver a bit, but she ignores it and closes her eyes, just as a gust of wind rolls by. If it hadn’t been for Jack coming out and suddenly barking orders, Kai might have dozed off and fallen into the sea anyway. She stands and looks over at the one who took her in. To think, someone like him taking care of a child, at first it may have seemed like an impossible idea and yet 10 years later she’s still here, and no matter how much it may not seem like it at times, Jack truly does care for her, Kai smiles and heads of to complete the task she was given. Accepted! We do prefer the play-by to be of a “real person”, just for purposes of visualization!
Applying to be an original character!Your Name: Nicole. Personal Tumblr URL: http://artsysoul09.tumblr.com/ How you found us: I think it was through the pirates gif tumblr. I can’t exactly remember; it was in the middle in the night when I found you guys. Lol. Projected Activity Level: Every day on my down time. Character’s name/Playby: Eileen Margaret Waller. She’ll be played by Scarlett Johansson. Original Character Info: Eileen Waller was born in Birmingham, England to Jeremiah & Victoria Waller on August 5th. She lived in Birmingham for about sixteen years until her parents were murdered in a house fire, a group of men running off into the darkness of the night. Having no idea why they had killed them, Eileen had to escape England so the men wouldn’t find her, and started a new chapter of her life by throwing a few of her clothing in the fire. That day, everybody believed that the Waller family had died in a tragic fire that started by a spark from their fire place. The young girl was always skilled in certain things, having an uncanny ability to learn everything quickly. So her parents taught her watch every proper lady should learn; French, sewing, and even learning how to defend herself with a sword. Her father had been paranoid about always being in danger, so he had taught his only daughter how to use a sword in the private family room that they used merely for fencing, even having her using a gun once in a while just in case. Putting all the good lessons into use, Eileen used all the money she had on her to disguise herself in simple male clothing, going on the ship The Felix Starr to stow away. Half way throughout the trip, Eileen was found out by the pirate captain, Ezra Baron, and put to work cleaning the deck. She eventually was taught the ‘guidelines’, and the ways to work a ship, even getting honed on her swordsmanship skills. She made it all the way to Dolgellau, Gwynedd without being found out that she was a woman. By that time, Eileen had a feeling that the ocean had been her secret calling, always going down by the caves pretending to a pirate with her friends as a child, or just trying to find sea shells that were unique to her. Yet she didn’t know why she felt that way, increasingly having an urge of wanting something exciting to happen or just to find a piece of treasure that hadn’t been found yet. And when she landed in Dolgellau, Eileen went to stretch her legs in the town. Everything was new to her, so the young girl explored around, eventually finding a man yelling at a woman, whom looked like a servant or a slave. So she went up to the man, and told him to leave the woman alone. The man overreacted by calling her a pirate (the man thought Eileen was a man), saying that the reason Eileen was defending the woman was so she could be free and steal all his jewels like a pirate would. He then took out a brander of a rose, scaring Eileen’s neck with a deep burn. She then took the brander and hit the man with it, telling the woman to run away. Afterwards, Eileen went back to the Felix Starr, wondering if piracy was the answer to what she was feeling. Years later, Eileen had her own ship, The Scarred Rose, and a crew to herself. She went all over the world to try to find any type of treasure she could find, eventually hearing about a necklace of immortality called The Heart of the Ocean by a man named James Abraham, who was also a curious adventurer that was spouting things in a local pub one night. He mention that nobody would be able to find such a necklace, but that he would be able to find it all by himself. Eileen bet him that she’d be able to find it before him, setting off into a three month worth adventure to dig up everything that she could find about the Heart. Almost giving up on trying to finding it, Eileen finally got some good news from a sailor who had supposedly escaped from the infamous Davy Jone’s ship. He told her that Davy Jones knew of the necklace’s whereabouts, and to go at night to a cave in the shape of a skull to find the Flying Dutchman. Going right away at midnight, Eileen saw a ship wreck by the cave. Curious as ever, the woman went to the ship to see if anybody was alive, seeing a frighten man chained to the wreckage. When she was going to mutter a sentence about how he had gotten to his unfortunate situation, the crew of the Flying Dutchman appeared on The Scarred Rose. They surrounded her and the crew, having their blades to their throats. But a voice boomed into the air, telling them to stand down. When the men moved away, they made room for their captain, Davy Jones. He asked the young pirate what she wanted, her response being the Heart of the Ocean. And the half-man, half monster knew very well of what was requested, being at war with the god of the ocean, whose wife was a goddess who made the necklace. So to make the god angry, Davy Jones told Eileen he would raise the necklace up and give it to her..but at a price. She had to wager for her life to serve him for hundred years with a dice game. If she lost, Jones would keep the necklace for himself. But if she won, Eileen would have the necklace and be freed. So the two played the the dice game, Eileen winning three out of the four games they played. Yet as she was leaving the ship, Davy Jones didn’t let her off the ship, telling her,”Ye really think that I would let a lass like ye get off that easily?” Furious, Eileen wanted to kill him right away. But she kept herself calm, hatching a plan as she “agreed” to his deal. In the middle of the night, eileen sneaked off the dutchman through the lower window, taking the necklace and a sword, not having one in her possession at the time. When she got into the ocean, a terrible storm knocked her unconscious in the ocean. The next morning, Eileen ended up in the town of Tortuga. Luckily, nobody had no idea about who she was or how she had drifted upon shore, only knowing she needed a new pair of clothing. So the pirate stole some dry clothing, throwing away the wet ones she had worn the night before. Ever since that night, Eileen had abandoned her ship, having a custom made case for the heart jewel of the necklace so nobody would recognize what she had in her possession, trying to live her life like nothing’s wrong. So far, Davy Jones hadn’t been able to find Eileen, but she’s afraid that he’ll find her someday… Roleplay sample: The smell of spiced rum and dirt filled Eileen Waller’s noise, furrowing her eyebrows together at the odd combination. She let her eyes wander around the pub in Tortuga, tapping her fingers gingerly onto the counter. It took a few moments to finally find the source of the smell, realizing that the smell came from the clothing that Eileen was wearing. “Oh, bugger. I need a bath. And new clothing. Of course.” The blonde let her shoulders sag, soon after shoving herself off the stool she was sitting upon. A group of men glanced her way, instantly going back to their game of blackjack without a care who was in the pub that night. Eileen titled her huge hat down on her face, casually taking her time to get across to where a pair of stairs where, going up them without a fuss. Getting up to the second floor, the woman stepped into the first room she saw. “Get the bloody hell outta here! Who do you think you are, anyways,” a woman sneered, covering her and the man next to her up with cotton covers. Eileen shrugged, letting the words,”Juste un pirate essayant de trouver quelques vêtements décents .. mais j’ai supposé que j’ai marché dans la pièce fausse pour cela, eh ?,” float out of her mouth. She watched the woman scrunch her face in confusion at what was said as the man had a blank expresion upon his face, bursting out with a sincere laughter. Turning herself around half way, Eileen didn’t care to close the door on her way out, and scaled the hallway for a while. There was a door that was ajar, leaving a peek of light flickering onto the floor. The pirate brought herself to the door, pushing it a little too hard instead of the usual gentle push. She furrowed her eyebrows for the second time that night, popping half her body within the room. Nobody seemed to occupy the room at the moment, Eileen soon letting herself inside to see what was around. A few items of clothing where here and there, a big fluff of clothing sticking out a box at the end of the bed. The mysterious item brought Eileen to the box, opening it up to see a rather big, lacy pearl colored skirt with a blue and gold designed woman’s vest without the sleeves. There were also a pair of brown high boots that would go up to the calf of the leg sitting by the side of the box, all of the clothing giving Eileen a sense of comfort somehow as she gathered everything. When she closed the door, locked it, and set the clothing onto the bed, Eileen undressed herself and brought herself to the bathroom. Her slender fingers ran knob of the hot water into the tub, slipping into the warmth of the water as soon as it floated up to the middle. Eileen then let out a sigh of relief, letting her mind drift into nothingness, only seeing the clear, blue ocean into her eye’s mind. *Translation: Just a pirate trying to find some decent clothing..but I guessed I stepped into the wrong room for that,eh?
